The Savvy Authors online writing group has invited me to teach a free, live, online humor writing class with follow-up Q&A this week, and they have kindly agreed to let my blog readers participate for free. All you need to do is register for their site –- which will subscribe you to their weekly newsletter, but you can unsubscribe at any time.
I have never worked with these guys before; but a former participant in my online humor writing class is one of the organizers, and she is a nifty person, so I am rolling with the assumption that this is a cool group of writers; in fact, I am looking forward to checking out more of their stuff myself.
The class will consist of a live, scrolling presentation for the first 20 to 30 minutes, during which I’ll share my top humor writing tips. I will then answer questions live in a chat room for the remainder of the hour. If you’ve been thinking of signing up for my six-week humor writing workshop, but haven’t been sure if it’s for you, or if you want a quick taste of what a humor writing class might be like, I hope you’ll jump into this free, live chat and say hi!
The one-hour chat will take place this Wednesday, December 7, at 9 p.m. US Eastern Time. That’s 7 p.m. Pacific time... 5 a.m. Thursday in London, 10 a.m. Thursday in Singapore / Hong Kong, or 1 p.m. Thursday in Sydney, Australia. You can sign up at http://www.savvyauthors.com/vb/showevent.php?eventid=1344.
